Formed in 1980, W.E.S.S (Welding Equipment Sales & Service P/L) is not only a proud Australian owned company, but better yet a South Australian owned company, supporting 27 fulltime local SA jobs. W.E.S.S. has experienced considerable growth over the years and has now absorbed a few companies along the way (J & R Hill, Broadway Welding Supplies & WESS Gas). Today, after more than 32 years, a time characterized by hard work, persistence, diligence and an abundance of personal devotions has made W.E.S.S. the leader of the pack in South Australia both rural and metro.
WESS knows that stock is everything, that service support is critical, that product quality is paramount, but that pricing is also important. We weld all these together into a complete package that cannot be matched, we are your true one stop welding & safety supply shop. We put our money where our mouth is and hold huge stocks in our Adelaide stores/showroom for your convenience, as well as employee the largest service division in South Australia to back up/support all that we sell. “Our customers don’t have to pay to send new equipment interstate should something go wrong within its warranty period.” Welding Equipment Sales & Service also has South Australia’s largest dedicated welding equipment hire division, with 100’s of welding HIRE units ready to go / assist you with your next project. But, that’s not all, WESS also sells and handles second hand welding equipment & does gas equipment repairs. So you can see, no one does it quiet like us, WESS has you fully covered in Adelaide in all welding related areas.
We are large enough to provide you with a comprehensive package of products, service and technical back-up, fast but at the same time our organization is compact enough to retain & encourage its concept of person to person contact. You can always talk directly with the person that can assist you the best (which is a concept fast disappearing in the new millennium). If you are rural, no worries, we are have over 15 different couriers calling in daily, so most deliveries are still next day. We are also in a main courier district with most of our neighbours being freight companies, so late in the day dispatches are relatively easy for us.
